As a LACO SAS Data Engineer you are part of the biggest and most experienced SAS team in Belgium. In 1994 we were the first SAS Partner in Belgium and today we remain the largest one.

You? A big data daredevil that bridges the gap between IT/DI and business.


  • Contribute in the technical architecture, design and development of data intelligence solutions.
  • Understand and challenge the business requirements and the conceptual & physical data models.
  • Treat the Data Quality issues and design the ETL flows.
  • Participate in end-to-end projects in a variety of domains from Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Quality, Data Integration, Visualization and Big Data.
  • Act as an advisor to bring innovation, build new and optimize existing solutions.
  • Carry end-to-end responsibilities.


  • You have a proven work experience using SAS DI, EG and SAS BI Suite.
  • You have a strong experience in BI development with practical involvement in implementations.
  • Knowledge of DDS, DATAFLUX, BDN, Lineage is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, Oracle, DB2).
  • You are customer focused and communicative.
  • You speak fluent Dutch and/or French and English.
  • You have very good analytical skills.
  • You arecreative and always strive for excellence.

If you’re an experienced consultant, we’ll gauge your current skill level and experience. This will also allow us to start drafting a career path and the appropriate guidance to maximize your growth.

This step also consists of an in-depth interview with a senior manager and an expert consultant, integrating you in the LACO culture and valorizing your expertise in depth.
