YOUR JOB

As a Senior Azure Data Architect at LACO, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Seeing the bigger picture and not just solving 1 specific problem for 1 specific business.
  • Understanding where an organization wants to go, which goals they have set and creating an architecture for getting there.
  • Working proactively and designing with the future in mind.
  • Mastering the art of translating solutions into plain and straightforward language.
  • Being an expert and participating in proposals.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser in middle management.
  • Adding value to LACO as an organization by sharing your knowledge and organizing pitches.

YOUR SKILLS

  • You have a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in computer science or equivalent.
  • You have experience with different data consumption techniques from traditional to more advanced analytics and AI perspective (Power BI, Tableau, Machine Learning,…).
  • Power BI means more to you than shiny graphs (and pie charts).
  • You have at least 1 year of experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake or Databricks.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory.
  • You are fluent in SQL, Python, Spark and DAX.
  • You have experience with data modeling techniques (Star Schemas, Dimensional Modelling, Kimball).
  • You have experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • You communicate clearly in Dutch and/or French and English (both written and spoken).

  • You can present and defend your solutions in front of clients.
  • Leadership and entrepreneurship flow through your veins.
  • You are able to organize, facilitate and lead workshops.
  • A Koala, Panda and Python are more to you than just exotic animals or R is not just what pirates shout.
  • You have (or aim for) the role-based Microsoft Data certifications, or Databricks certifications.

If you’re an experienced consultant, we’ll gauge your current skill level and experience. This will also allow us to start drafting a career path and the appropriate guidance to maximize your growth.

This step also consists of an in-depth interview with a senior manager and an expert consultant, integrating you in the LACO culture and valorizing your expertise in depth.

Next up: getting down to the nitty-gritty. We’ll make you an offer that’s tailored to your needs and expectations, along with a personal onboarding plan. Welcome to the family!

Before your first day
